The Chilean Association of Tourism Journalists (APTUR) presents new Board of Directors

During the general assembly held in April 2025, the members elected the new board of directors of the Chilean Association of Tourism Journalists (APTUR Chile) for the period 2025-2027. This team, made up of outstanding professionals in the sector, will work to strengthen the objectives of the guild and promote excellence in national tourism journalism.

Under the leadership of Dalma Díaz Pinto as President, APTUR Chile will continue the stage of strengthening the guild, promoting specialized training and defending the interests of professionals in the sector. Rodrigo Salazar continues as First Vice President, contributing his strategic vision, while Macarena Velasco also continues as Second Vice President, reinforcing teamwork.

"The renewal of the board represents a valuable opportunity to consolidate the progress achieved and open new lines of work for the benefit of the sector. With a team that combines experience and new perspectives, the role of the association as a bridge between tourism professionals, institutions and the community is strengthened. In a context where sustainable development and innovation are key, this new leadership comes at a crucial moment to continue positioning the guild as a relevant actor in the construction of the tourism we want for the country". the new national president Dalma Díaz Pinto commented to us.



"As vice-president, I deeply value the support of our members and the trust placed in this new stage. The renewal of the board of directors is an opportunity to continue strengthening our guild with a collaborative and renewed vision.Our commitment remains firm: to work for a more sustainable, inclusive and professionalized tourism, always hand in hand with our associates and with a long-term strategic vision. With this new board, we are redoubling our efforts to generate alliances, promote training and position tourism as a key axis of local and national development", said Rodrigo Salazar.

Financial management will be in the hands of Gustavo Salinas as Treasurer, guaranteeing transparency and solidity in the association's resources, and Marisol Ortiz, as Secretary, will oversee internal organization and communication with associates.

In the area of training, Pablo Granell remains as Director of Training, promoting training programs to raise the standards of tourism journalism.
Paola Fernández, meanwhile, retains her position as Director of Communications and will work to position APTUR Chile in the media and in the national and international industry, through alliances and actions that promote the work of members and the guild.

Antonio Faúndes, APTUR Chile's past president, will also continue as a board advisor, a position he performed with efficiency and commitment during the last two terms with this board.
